This Detectamet™ Metal Detectable Heavy-Duty (HD) Retractable Pen with Standard Ink is x-ray visible and metal detectable. It is made from polymer and food contact approved materials to help meet FDA and EU regulations for safe food contact. The rugged construction helps reduce breakage under stress to increase longevity. In addition, the shatterproof body helps avoid small pieces from entering manufacturing lines. The ink will outlast a writing endurance of over 6 mi. (10km) and the refill system design helps make cartridge replacement simple. The easy-to-clean pen has a matt, textured surface with indentations in the natural gripping area to help improve hold. Suitable for use where quality control efforts are required to help reduce foreign object contamination or allergen transfer in food processing areas as well as wet or greasy environments that may impede pen holding.
