Cut-resistance is one of six mechanical hazards governed by the European safety standard EN 388. The EN 388 cut-resistance test gives a rating to each glove based on the amount of pressure it can withstand from a sharp object before it shows signs of laceration.

The 73-9110 glove is part of the new 2020 range of food safe PPE engineered to deliver an incredible up-lift in cut protection, grip, performance, and comfort. Superseding the 410B original heavyweight cut resistant food handling glove, it is designed to be worn on the knife hand, suitable for use in abattoirs, able to withstand heavy-duty meat carving and deboning and processing. Providing incredible EN388: 2016 level F cut resistance (ANSI 105:2016 A9), the glove is able to be worn for long periods of wear. An extended cuff provides added protection to the wrist area and all gloves in the food range can be industrially laundered to the ISO 15797:2018 standard.
